Documents and history

Match the vehicle identification on the car and documents. Check the seller, maintenance and available mileage records. Ask for explanations of inconsistencies. Missing information does not prove that there is no problem.

Technical condition

Check bodywork, tyres, lights, fluids and warning indicators. Seek an independent professional inspection when needed. A test drive and a technical inspection serve a different purpose from a vehicle history report.

Before transferring money

Review the contract, recorded defects, documents, keys and handover. A history report can help but does not guarantee completeness or replace an independent inspection. This website does not provide an actual history report or assess a vehicle’s safety.
